How people opt in

There is exactly one way to opt in: a web form inside our application, completed by the person themselves while signed in to their own account. There is no keyword opt-in, no paper form, no verbal enrolment, and no list imported from anywhere.

   Create an account

   A person signs up at https://www.sonwalkar.net, or accepts an emailed invitation from an administrator of their organization. Text messages are off by default and no phone number is collected at signup.

   Open notification settings

   Once signed in, they go to their Profile page (or Integrations → Notifications). Nobody else can do this on their behalf.

   Enter their own mobile number

   Typed by the person themselves. No numbers are purchased, rented, imported, or collected from any third party.

   Tick the consent checkbox

   Unchecked by default. The "Send code" button stays disabled until it is ticked, so consent cannot be skipped or bundled with anything else.

   Confirm with a one-time code

   A six-digit code is emailed to the address on the account. The number is only saved and enabled after that code is entered correctly, which proves the number belongs to the person who asked for messages.

What the person sees

The consent control exactly as it appears in the application, including the wording agreed to.

What we send, and how to stop

• Messages contain reminders about your own tasks, goals, and calendar events, and announcements from an administrator of your organization.
• Message frequency varies — typically no more than one message per day.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or remove the number in notification settings. Reply HELP for help.
